Grand Anse Beach

Grenada, Grand Anse

Grand Anse Beach is a two-mile stretch of white sand that is by far Grenada’s most acclaimed beach. Home to some of the island’s finest hotels, and punctuated with sea grape, almond and palm trees, this iconic beach is not only easily accessible, but serves up amazing beach bars, water sports, and a thrifty arts and crafts market.

The world acclaimed Grand Anse Beach offers an idyllic escape of two miles of sparkling white sand lapped by calm turquoise waters on which you can carve out a space just for you under palm, almond or sea grape trees. Set in the southern tourism belt, the USA Today Readers’ Best Caribbean Beach is home to some of Grenada’s finest hotels, amazing beach bars, restaurants and water sports. Nestled on the beach is a Craft and Spice Market in which you can take home a slice of Grenada or just enjoy a breathtaking sunset with a rum punch sprinkled with fragrant nutmeg to end the day.

If you’re lucky, you may just spot a friendly game of cricket being played by locals on the beach. The southern jewel is easily accessible by either public or private transportation. Have your camera ready as it is considered one of the most ‘instagrammable’ beaches in the world.
